Ireland beat Pakistan! Bangladesh beat India! Cricket World Cup

Two massive upsets in the cricket world cup early this morning with Bangladesh giving India a huge fuck you with a comprehensive win over the traditional powerhouses of world cricket.

Just when everyone thought they had seen it all, the cricket equivalent to pigs flying happened when Ireland somehow, someway beat world number 3 Pakistan.. It was followed in many bars around the world by a floury of beer and spirits flowing and unstoppable long live Ireland chants no doubt.

I doubt many Irish people did get drunk because of that cricket win.No one plays or follows cricket here so it was more a case of us drowning our sorrows after that painful Rugby defeat yesterday.

The Pakistan coach died today btw.he was only 58.Thats pretty sad and no doubt puts a dampener on Irelands cricket win.
