Ok, where do I start. I was walking home from school one day and my iPod screen shut off and it wasnt displaying anything but the song was still playing, the song played until the end and the iPod screen still wasn't displaying anything, so when I got home I plugged it into the computer and it still didnt turn on, but the next day when I got up the iPod was working again.

Well, this happened again, except this time I left the iPod plugged in for 2 days and it wasn't working, but my computer started going really slow. I restarted my computer not knowing what the problem was, and it was going even slower, it took about 20 minutes just to load up the desktop, and it was switched back to the "classic windows" theme to save memory. Nothing was loading up, I figured my computer was fucked so I wanted to save some files to disc, but not even CD burning programs would load up. The start bar wasn't even there, the task manager only showed a few processes, etc. So I plug my iPod out and then it quickly switches back to the new windows theme, the start bar appears, and a bunch of processes load up.

What the fuck?

My ipod is a bia too. It was giving me an error message. I had to reinstall quicktime then reinstall itunes. Pain in the A$$!!!!!

but I finally got "Right Now" on my ipod. :D :D :D

Ok, so I just plugged the iPod in now and its charging, though theres still a problem with it obviously.

never plug it in before booting. your cpu will look for a boot volume on it and proceed to search it. you may be wise to reformat it if it's giving you any problems... the display could have blacked due to low power, or you could have a bad display on its way out. reformatting would be a good step in making sure you don't have a bad video or song that's confusing it.

That makes me wonder, because both times it fucked up I was listening to Bone Thugs - Mo Murda.

am i the only one using a "portable CD player"?
I used to use that, but I could no longer stand burning a new CD full of songs anytime I wanna hear one new song.

There was a fault with the ipod videos when they first came out.My sister got a faulty one.It just kept loading up with the apple logo and resetting over and over.

Me has video.

Yea,same as me.Seems to b working ok.

Do u know how to put music videos into the music video playlist.Mine always appear in the Movies playlist?

Also i drag and drop a group of songs onto my ipod they appear about 5 times on my ipod. For example i have a group of songs called 2Pac OGs and Unreleased.I dragged this on to my ipod.It appears 5 times as 2Pac OGs and Unreleased.I want to have them all under the one entry.

I dont know what the second problem is, but to make it under music videos, go to iTunes, right click the vid, click "Get Info", go to the options tab, and change the Video Kind.

you know, if you go to the apple support pages, it tells you how to fix that. Mine did the same, just a little research and my ipod was fixed.
