Yaaaaayyyyyy!!!! for technologyy the US has already had for 5 years!!!! Yayyyyy for 4g being rolled out in 2010, and ipv6 for that matter for helping it a lot. yaaayyy yaaay, serious about 4g and ipv6, thats like a kilo of yay. iPhone 3g is like a bump or two.

Damn, those threads in TechTalk get deleted like there's no tomorrow. Anyway, I wanted to make like a SH's source for iPhone apps with reviews of my personal favorites, but if nobody is interested, then it would be a waste of my time.
If I get enough replies here, I'm more than willing to provide you fine folks with all the goodies.
This particular one is actually based on the development for Android. I chose this for the example because the issue with typing was brought up in the other thread.

I see the 3g 16gb black going for 700 to 1000 on ebay. Why would someone pay that much if you can get it for 300 from AT&T? yes, I know. The two year contract. Still though...If you're on Verizon, let's say, can you still get all the features (data plan, mms, bla bla) on the iPhone? For most of my cell-phone having life, I've used unlocked phones from Europe and I was never able to enjoy all the exclusive shit from my cell phone company...
Because of that bullshit data plan and then voice plan shit I'm not gonna get an iPhone. It will be years before the iPhone is for the average joe, or something like the iPhone is. No major city, save for Philadelphia, has WiFi accessible to everyone which already shows how far we have to go. Not everyone in the US has broadband, some people are still fucking with GayOL. Until then, I'm fine with my LG EnV, side-flip keypad, great camera, music player (which I don't even use). I think those smartphones are for big shot businessmen that can afford $120 a month for their phones and need it as well.
yeah. I mean, I think I could afford it but I just can't justify to myself the need to pay over a 100 dollars for a phone bill. I'm a student, I just text message and record the occasional wasted loser at a party, I don't really need video calling and internet at all times. I need to get away from the internet...
There's always geeks that get it the day it comes out, play with it for 2 months and then you ask em about it and they go "oh, I sold it." Fucking idiot, then why did you spend so much on it?
