Hello everyone.

Recently, I've been thinking about this idea that came to mind that I think might be a first of a kind. However, I am not sure where to start.

How does one go about submitting ideas to companies that can help create it. My concern is what are the risks of going with one of those companies.

What percentage do they take. I know this idea will require a lot of money once it hits development. Also, it will need much advertisement. I don't have that kind of money to go about it on my own.

Anyway, does anyone have any information regarding new inventions that might help me in the right direction.

I am doing my own research as well. I'd appreciate any kind of help.

And, I might save this thread with all the replies to show the date of initiation should my idea be accepted.

Get it patent first. Then worry about selling your idea.

What is your idea?

I recently read about a guy who invented soda pop cans with a gauze in the top so that wasps couldn't fly into the can - apperently people have died from this problem and so he went about finding a solution.

He perfected his product, patented it and sold the idea to coca-cola or some other large drinks company, and the guy signed a deal which meant he would get 1 pence for every can sold. And when you think about how many cans of pop drinks companies sell that can work out to be quite a lot.
