What is it that you guys do for work?
I'm not stalking asking where, just what do you do?
...and once you're out of work, what do you do that's different?
Here's an example:
I cashier at my job. I think I am next in line to be promoted, which would be lovely. Sitting in an office with internet and playing music till a customer has a problem, while getting paid $2-4 more?
As for me, when I get out, my thing is to write poetry. Love, Hate, Sad, Happy. Whatever it was that I was feeling. I started to get real well with it....but with no one to inspire me and being busy a lot, my poems started sounding EMO, because to my understanding, you take words and stretch them out as much as you can, while still saying the truth in a poem. And I wasn't up for lying in my poems. Even though, I have in one that was pretty well liked. Anyway, I quit it and took my poetry and added rhythm.
Now I can say whatever I want, with a bit more creativity, or at least, a different kind of creativity.
Since I've started making it in raps, I recited it a bit, and am currently working on the rhythms. I've noticed that I speak a bit more clearly than before. (Not that I spoke broken English or anything, but that I express myself well), so it helps me out in the real world too.
I think it makes what I do unique because most of my writing is poetry like. So I don't compare myself to a soulja boy, you know what I mean?
What separates you from others?
