Sony BMG are releasing our album DesiRock in India on the 20th October, so we're flying out there from the 10th-22nd to do a few gigs and loads of promotional stuff for the album, the pinnacle of that being a headline performance at the MTV Style Awards in Mumbai, complete with 30 supermodels on stage with us, and a gig on the beach as well. Life is good.
Been thinking a lot about this MTV performance as well. It's a lot of pressure, mostly pressure to look my best, so I've been making sure to eat well over the last few weeks, you know those MTV lights will show up any and every imperfection on your skin, so I gotta look good. Clothes wise, we have our sponsorship deal with Puma, so hopefully we'll get a chance to go to the Puma office some time in the next few days and grab some new shit.
Anyway we're staying in the penthouse suite at the Marriot in Mumbai which obviously has broadband in it, so I'll try to get on here when I have some time, although apparently our promo schedule is really hectic, so I'll find out how much free time I'm gonna have once I get there.
Even though I'm Indian (well, half), I've never even been there before, so to go there on a professional basis for our album release and MTV, is kinda surreal considering it'll be my first time in the country. It's gonna be fun.
Anyway I just thought I'd let you guys know, even though we're not leaving for another 9 days, I'm gonna be real busy so you won't see me on here much, probably until we get back!
