I'm becoming an announcer

Today i was having dinner with my dancing instructor and out of no where she says
'Salar, do you know what i've realised, you have a great voice'

I was shocked because i often hear the complete opposite. When i sing loud in the shower or in the car i often get yelled at or something thrown at me. Plus whenever i hear my own voice it just irritates me, i don't know how others can listen to it.

Anyway she said i had a great voice and later on when we went for coffee's and stuff she mentioned it to the group and they all agreed which threw me off completely. My dance instructor is the Australian champion so she's 'hired' me to announce her on stage everytime she's performing. This is the last thing i ever expected to be doing. Everyone's talking about how they think i should do radio or TV announcements and stuff like that, and i just can't believe this.

Anyway i thought i'd make the announcement that i'm becoming an announcer at dance performances.

i hate my own voice too. when ever i play a song on my guitar for someone they are always like "can you sing" "you know your singing in your head. just sing it out loud" i cant since i think i suck and would be embarrassing

sounds like it could be a cool gig that could open alot of doors for you. stick with it.

"Dancing instructor?" You are male, right? What kind of dance, ballet? Maybe you meant to say your football coach. Yeah, I'm sure that's what you meant, your football coach, and he wants you to yell out the calls cause you have such a strong and commanding voice.

Ok, I know football is not the same there as in the US, so let's just say you meant to say...ah...your boomerang coach.

Nope, my dancing instructor. I've been teaching hiphop for about 5 years, used to teach break dancing but then i did my knee's. No wi'm learning latin dancing (salsa dancing) but also includes other latin dancing styles (Bachata, chacha, merengue, samba etc)
i've been doing this for about a year and a half but in the last 6 months i haven't been dancing at all because of many things. So recently i'm back into it and now i have the australian champions to teach me.
