Technology id3 tags? :S

Hey guyz recentlygot me a sexy in car cd player it has ID3 capability but i can never see any on screen? how do i write them??

im using itunes to burn cd's
sometimes Nero
and sometimes Pinnacle Instant CD/DVD suite

but normally if u burn an mp3 cd it should work yesh displaying name/artsit etc.

First you need to make sure the id3 tags are set to the songs. In winamp, just right click on the song, and click 'view file info'. Make sure the id3 checkbox is ticked, enter all the info, then burn a mp3 cd. Should work.

Most burning progs should have some kind of checkbox where you can select whether to have Id3 tags on the CD or not.

yeh i tried everything and it still aint bein displayed on my cd player wtf. i know its ID3 compatible so whats crackin'?

your cd player....does it play mp3 cds??? or only audio cds?

ok check this out. theres 2 different versions of ID3 tags. theres ID3 V1 and ID3 V2. check which version of the tags are on the cd thats not showing them. If the tags are V1, try changing them to V2. If they're V2 try changing them to V1. That should do the trick. ID3 tags are embedded into mp3 files,so when you record the mp3 on the cd, the ID3 tag is already there no matter what,theres no special settings that you have to do to get ID3 tags working.

you can change ID3 versions from winamp. Just right click the file and go to view info.You can also try enabling both V1 and V2 tags at the same time.

last but not least,make sure you are burning a DATA CD and not an AUDIO CD.
