How the hell does rapmusic.com got so many members? They got over 97,000 members and almost 800 online right now. I don't even see what's so special about it. It's not really that interesting to me. So how'd they get so many people over there? We should be over there recruiting. :D j/k

This board used to be mostly 2Pac orientated. So it didn't always have a general overview of the rap game. So it was no use for ppl who disliked Pac to come here. Word of mouth was probably a contibution to the high number of users.

1 question for you...

Are you bored at the moment? lol

i'm bored. i wouldnt want that many people over here. i like it how it is. the board is more focused on being hip hop and not just tupac now and like that alot. it would be cool if we got a few more members but not enough for 800 online at one time.

you know some of those boards fake those numbers. i seen a tutorial how to fool the system. and all they do is write up a list of fake names to add to the database

very true, 9 out of ten boards do that to draw people in.

Alot of those boards have a bunch of dumbfuck members too. They are filled with haters. You'll have threads where EVERYONE is hating on 50 Cent or EVERYONE is hating on Jay-Z etc. On this forum though, there are plernty of people that give props to artists even if they don't listen to the artists music. There are plenty of knowledgeable people here as well, that's why I enjoy this board more than others.

yeah, the last thing we need is every other person saying "G-G-G-G-UNIT!"

lol yeah, I was very bored at that moment. It was like 1am and I couldn't sleep so I was checkin out some other boards.
I believe what bigmack said about faking the numbers, I find it hard to believe that that many people are there cause like I said, it's not even that interesting. It's mostly only the same few people posting everywhere. And wouldn't that many people online at once slow it down a bit? Cause when I was on it, the pages were coming up pretty quickly. Oh yeah, I discovered too that AON is over there. He's the "Capo Bastone of Audio" So that's prolly the main thing that turned me off about that board lol

i know i first went to rapmusic.com just by typing in the address. I do that someimes when i am loking for something i just type in the address .com. like microsoft, if i am loking for microsofts website i just type in microsoft.com and see if it works and if not i goggle it. so after that explaination here is my theory. i think a lot of people did that. just type in rapmusic.com and ended up there.

Same thing with AllHipHop's Ill Community, I remember someone calling it "arguably one of the best hip-hop boards on the net" so I checked it out and it's probably one of the worst..I only go there when I need to laugh :P
