My question for the thread starter is, can't you find a job that pays more money? If you're underage and it's your first job, 8 bucks is pretty darn good. If you're 18 or older, look harder.

Well, im 19 & im a student. I also live in Canada (EH?), and the minimum wage here is 18. It's very hard in the Westcoast in terms of employment (especially Vancouver). You literally need to take courses in order to clean toilets, therefor it's VERY hard to find a job here (so people take anything they can).
