You guys ever think of someone else on the messageboard and make assumptions about them? I do this all the time...not just a person's character. I also make assumptions about their looks...like "That person is fat, short, and ugly."

Its not that I don't like them or anything! There's this one TB member I kinda like...but I keep thinking he/she (I can't reveal the gender either because it will make me feel bad) is ugly. Its not just one person. Its actually two persons.

I make these assumptions based on where they work, live, the little pieces of info they share about themselves, etc. Its stupid...I know.

I need to get these assumptions out of my head. :(
 
haha Pennypacker, you're so strange! See I tend to think of everyone being tall, thin and attractive... it would surprise me if people were fat or ugly.... :(

Well, I'm 5'9 so don't think I'm tall, lol. But, I see what you mean penny, our brain kinda does it by itself. It makes these assumptions. For example, me thinking that you're white, lol.

I remember when Big Mike Rukas came down to melbourne, i was exepecting to see the nerdiest, skinny wannabe wigger, and when i met him at the casino i was utterly surprised to see a 6'4 handsome beast of a man looking back at me (kind of scared too). Mike himself actually noticed my surprise because he asked me about it later on in the night.
I make my assumptions on alot of people, but i try and leave it at that.

no... mase my man, u remind me of my little cousin who is a little shit. You've just got one of those faces. Don't worry apparently i do too. That face as if your up to something, and you've always got a comeback to everything. It's a good thing to have.

Lol, on the internet I get everything from I look like a smartass (I have got that many times) and I look like a school teacher (I have got that many times aswell). But yeah, I know exactly what you mean, and I guess that pretty much describes me in real life lol.
 
I guess my head does make some assumptions on people, but I don't let it go any further than that.

Actually, when I see some of the members pics, I'm a little suprised sometimes, not in a bad way of course, it's just that I picture some of the members to look a little bit different.
