Sometimes to escape a sensitive subject, you have to bring forth a more extreme, touchy subject. It doesnt have to be true, just kinda "out there" enough to divert the focus.
Example:
"Eric you must have myspace"
"no i dont, but my boyfriend does!"
Boom topic change. Im sure ur fam woulda left u alone then, at least off the myspace topic...
