The worst things is when I demand (yes I demand it) that people around me to throw their take-out boxes and empty coke cans in the bins, they try and ridicule me and call me 'best citizeen of the city' and stuff like that. but I don't care, when I go to a take-out and I eat inside (you know what I mea), then I always make sure I throw away my empty boxes in the bin and I even take any plates and stuff back to the counter and I even wipe the table. lol, I just can't help it, I can't stand any litter and dirtiness anywhere near me. In anything I do I make sure I leave it clean when im done doing whatever I was doing.
Ok , i dont expect that level from everyone but it really comes to something when people bring fast food boxes into university labs and leave them there when there are bins about 13 steps away. In fact to leave the room you would have to walk past the bin.

Some people/ (animals) have just done that and im fucking fuming. whatever happened to wanting a clean environemetn and leaving a place clean after you dirty it up

read this as well, I have to walk around rats and shit cos people are to lazy

lol i feel you man. shit when i was still in university, theres this guy in one of my classes,he would bring one of those 1L chocolate milk bottles every single time we had class. at first we were friends(not good friends, but u know, just a class friend that i talk to more than the other people).anyways, he'd drink it and just leave it on the table. even if he didnt drink it all he'd just leave it and leave. sometimes he'd throw it under the table.this used to piss the fuck out of me cuz its plain out dirty and irresponsible.

anyways one day he left it on the table and was leaving,so im like, hey you forgot something. he said what? then i told him your milk bottle. he laughed and left.next time i saw him in class,i said listen, you take this bottle and throw it in the garbage or recycle bin. he said "what, are you one of those environmental freaks",so thats when i got pissed, i snapped and decked him. then i swear to god, everytime he'd bring the bottle, when it's time to leave, he'd tuck it away nicely into his bag and get the fuck outta there asap. i never talked to the jerk again.sometimes u gotta knock some sense into these fools.

ken like you,i cant stand dirty things like that.yeah i do the same in fastfood places,i clean my table and put the trays and garbage away.you know what disgusts me,those people leaving their shit and getting out of there burping like sick fucks with their big asses that can barely fit in a regular size chair.

recycle people.dont litter. keep the earth nice and clean for your kid's kid's kid's kid's sake.

lol, enviromental freak.

i've been called :
A tree hugger
Best citizen of the city
Swampy (Local expression for someone who over-zealously about the environement)
GreenPeace activist

btw, the things with me cleaning up after myself in take aways and stuff is not just about cleansiness but about wanting to be courteous and civil. :)

loool greenpeace activist. damn its not like an obsession, but dont be fuckin dirty u know what i mean, and like u said, curteous.

I hate it when people do it on purpose, just to make somebody's job harder. Sometimes I do it too, but there's a fairly reasonable explanation.

I'm a consistent litterer.......I'd probably have a heart-attack if one day the streets were suddenly clean.

On a particular route I regularly walk (about 3 quarters of a mile to a mile give or take) there are NO bins to be found.

Also, bins have a tendency to be set on fire....

I litter all the time, I don't plan on doing it I just couldn't be bothered to find a bin most of the time. If I see a bin I'll try and use it though.

Man, you should see where I live ..garbage everywhere. I swear, I think some of the rats are dogs sometimes.

lol, more social problems.

I just cannot bring myself to drop a packet of crisps or a chocolate wrapper on the floor. I f there are no bins then I would put the litter in my pocet or carry it untill I did find a bin. Unless it was food like banana skin in which case I would gladly toss it like on the side of the pavement and whisper to myself "hey, it's bio-degradable" :) .

I just hate litter, especially in my face. say if i goto a friens house and there's a dirty plate on the table or there's last nights pizza box on the table, I will ask him to dispose of it, if he doesn't, then I do it myself.
I just don't like mess, I don't like over-stated 'messy' body kits on cars, i like the understated stuff. I don't like rooms which have too much going on, I like the bare look more, cos it doesn't look as messy. Im fucking going crazy, cos the worst thing is, my brother is a slob  and there's cds and an empty glass on the table i'm typing at and I feel like everything is just sooo dirty around me

^the above is what my mind conjures up when I see a few empty boxes with a couple of tubs of mayonnaise or some other sauce left on a table (no disrespect to the people in the picture, i understand their position [so to speak] and admire their courage)

I'm pretty messy, i dont leave food and shit around because thats just nasty but my whole floor is covered with cd cases and records.

i hate littering outside, i think it was engraved into my mind when i threw some garbage on the ground and some old lady yelled at me to put it into the trash can 2 feet away. I was 7, so that shocked me into not littering

yea i hate litter too, ill throw a banana or apple core on the grass or sidewalk like it was nothing, but a water bottle or something else ill carry with me till i find a garbage can

i used to litter alot just because its the city and i used to hate concrete and stuff, but i realized it doesnt make it anyworse

i feel too guilty now if i were to just throw something thats not a fruit or roach from a joint
