my sleeping patterns are fucked right now. one day i go to bed at 2am, wake up 2pm the next day, then go to bed @ 3 and have to wake up at 6am the next.

like i said, all over the place. lately, this has been the pattern, so now i can't sleep. too much shit on my mind anyway. dont you hate that? like it's late at night, you're physically tired, and you retire to your bed for some good old sleepage but your mind is still buzzing.

and the shit i think about is so fucking diverse. one minute i think about my future, and then the next im thinking if sitting on my hand until it becomes numb and then wanking will really enhance my experience. then i go on to pondering about the benefits of the minimum wage as opposed to the ills of a completely deregulated labour market.

how can people count sheep to get themselves to sleep? that shit is bullshit. a jihad on the person who thought of this myth. nothing on tv either apart from lame tv adverts selling some sort of ab workout thingy and ugly people who need pro-active
 
I know your problem. Fucked up sleeping patterns have been part of my life for quite some time now.

For me, reading a boring book sometimes works.
 
Don't smoke weed and run 3 miles after running 5, then turn on a fan with a light hum and stare at a blue computer screen.

Fucked up pattern is often referred to as random. Maybe start work on forming a pattern.
 
I call it the ferris wheel of thoughts. It's like a slide show in your mind, every slide is a different thought. I always do that shit in bed like last night I was having this huge ferris wheel of thoughts on the future and what I was gonna do today.
 
I used to sleep at fucked up times too. That was before I had a job though, then I knew I had to fix that shit asap. It wasn't easy at first, but it doesn't take long to fix. You can fix your sleep schedule if you really want to.
 
i know how you feel im doing the same thing sometimes on days i dont have work...sleeping in the day time and out at night......im like a vampire..i barly see daylight somedays
 
damn, i got the same problem...especially since i quit smoking weed....quit for about a month a half from april to the end of may...than i smoked a blunt on memorial day....now i haven't smoked since than.........but damn ever since i quit i can't sleep sometimes

a job really will get you on track but as a tip whenever your havin to cooperate with yourself and enact a false job either for a family or certain friend or mentor it can help too especialy if you buy like a business suit and brief case & do a specifiic routin e every day no matter what's happened personally or if youre low finanacillay, just the feeling give syou purpose to keep walking in life.

most days ill be out around 12:30 midnight and up at 5, breakfast at 6 "work" at 9:30 late lunch at 2:15 a ride home at supper time time with friends the trick actualy is convincing YORUSELF that you are in a psootoin where thousands of people depend on your actions at work in any given day, so just becaue YOU yourelf may feel blue or suicidal on the tuesday you have to wake back up on weddnesday And thursday because of your personal routine, you cant stop until the weekend and three week vacation every 3 months.
 
I've had insomnia for a few years now and i find that the thing that always works for me is to listenin to some music while i try to go to sleep.

im on school holidays now so i always fuck up my sleeping patern, one night i will b out till 6 am and from there on my sleeping patern will be messed up, all depnds what time i pass out when im drinking. i have to work on wednesday so im gonna have to not drink tommoz night:(
