How do u take the vocals off the beat 2 get just the beat or just the acapella from a song?

i could try and explain it but i'm not sure you'll understand anything anyway.

so i'll begin by asking what experience you have with audio software. don't just say you've played with it or anything that can mean a billion things. be specific. what audio programs for the computer have you used, etc.

cause if you don't have any experience with any you might as well start by learning how to use it because if not you won't be able to do this no matter how well i explain it.

reason i'm asking is the way you formulated yourself.

or the simple way would be to download the acapella/instrumental (what ever it is you are after), i admit sometimes its not possible, but you can pretty much get any instrumental, especially with any recent songs.

Well i just stated doing this so not much experience. The only program i used to make beats was Hip Hop Starz which i like.

Yea 2 any recent song but not every song song has a instrumental or acapella especially underground and old songs that not most people have heard of

you can try using the build in vocal remover in programs like adobe audition/cool edit. it's on the channel mixer. that's the easiest way but also it worked on about five out of five hundred tupac songs. so the likelyhood it's gonna give you a cpu acapella is low. it's definately gonna alter how the song sounds. for example, on 2 live and die in l.a. it brings out the guitar and chorus vocals and almost negates everything else.

the hard way is to layer the full song with an inverted version of the instrumental, but the instrumental is normally a few % faster or slower than the retail track for whatever reason. this is a way more advanced method to go about it and it's harder to get the result you want. and unless you have an understanding of digital audio and audio waves in general, you're not gonna know what to do if you run into problems, so it's not gonna matter.
