Historical e-books

Veeeeeeery long shot but does anyone know a good source for historical e-books? I'm thinking of anything BC, mostly from the Middle East (ie: Babylonian Empire). I've got a couple so they exist lawl.

i know where you can download college text books but you have to pay for the download
