Hip Hop database???

hi, i am looking 4 a hip hop database ...
i want to type in some tracks so that i get some infos on the artist or the album ... does anybody know if something like this exists?

yeah they do exist..but they're books..check ya library for a full guide through hiphop...

Sorry, the closest thing I know to a hip hop database is OHHLA.com but that is just lyrics and albums listed in chronological order and even then that has been down for a while now.

Though I best mention that I just tried OHHLA.com & it worked.

Although, Toopack has already served up a good/better site.

I was going to say what toopack said, but he beat me.

The other one is allmusic.com. if you sign up for a membership you can do search's for labels, and birthdays and all kinds of shit you don't need.
