Technology help with office

there's microsoft office 2003 oneNote preinstalled on my laptop, but when i try to start it, it requires product key. there's no key written on recovery cd (that's the only one that came with computer). couldn't find it in internet, maybe you could help me with this little problem?

Well we can't give you a product key, if that's what you're fishing for.

Check through all the documentation that came with the laptop, there might be a key in there somewhere.

If it came preinstalled then you can probably phone up Microsoft and ask them for a new key.

If it doesn't work you can always use OpenOffice.org with a OneNote alternative like EverNote.

i won't be bothering myself calling overseas to microsoft just for the code.
i can easily get simple office and istall it, but if it's preinstalled already i thought it might be possible somehow to finish the complete installation.
anyway, i checked all documentation, there was no product key there.

yes call locally. there will be a branch of microsoft in lithuania, even if only small there will be somebody to help out. try phoning operators and get a microsoft number and tell us what happens. good luck
