see some while ago i had this song, which sampled "i'm leaving on a jetplane" or whatever it's called.. the problem is now that i can't recall what the name of it was or who tha artist was.. all i can remember is that it was a rap song, and on the chorus there was a sume scratching and then that sample?

You were probably lookin for Mos Def & DJ Honda-Travellin Man, but Outsidaz-I'm Leavin interpolates the same song (Chantal Kreviazuk-Leaving On A Jetplane -- probably the most popular version of this song). Might want to give that one a try, too.
