Shit, I don't believe in the Bible & the inconsistency you pointed out is valid.

Let's just say Satan & Hell are real, I couldn't see him punishing a fellow evil soul.

There is no heaven or hell - we are all animals - all religion is so flawed . if there is a god did he create the dinosaurs just for a laugh before us ??? answer this all you religious people out there !!!. Religion and greed are also the main cause of war and attrocities in this world . go figure ?!?

If there is a hell, then there must be a God, as the whole notion of hell comes from God

Yeah the human perception of the Devil is intertwined with God but really, there could just be Hell, & nothing else. The again it could just be Heaven.

Point is, there's no way to know, so to say that if Hell exists God must, is pure speculation. Not that much different from all religion I guess...
