Anyone play this game? It looks fun.

Yes, a demo and I expected more. There are some cool features but overall it's meh.

It comes from a man who is one of the worst game designers and script writers. He said that he made that story up when his son was lost for 10 minutes in a supermarket.

It does look pretty cool and have heard good things from people who have it. Ill end up getting it. ill post some feedback once i've got it.

I've got it. I haven't played a great deal of it but I enjoy it. It's quite fun.

I was just playing it now. It's a really interesting game, a lot different to what I have played before.

yea, it is a different type of game. I wouldnt waste my time playing it, but i enjoyed watching my homeboy play it. it kinda reminded me of a long movie (not in relative terms or interest level of metal gear solid though)

i hate that. games that have as much cut scences as actual gameplay

Look at the Half Life 2 series. hardly a single cut scene in any of it and it has a really good story and is pretty easy to follow

SHITLOADS of cutscenes and none of them are skippable lol
Some of them allow you to make a choice which affects the ending you will get.

Well, however opinions on this game seem to be that it's the longest boring cutscene ever that tries to be a movie and a game at the same time. Then you can't just get away from your tv because you have to pay attention - you might get a Quick time event or an interactive choice you won't be able to repeat.
It is seriously annoying and this comes from someone who isn't annoyed by cutscenes in good games
Metal gear solid and Shenmue together can't fuck with Heavy Rain's cutscene length.

I am loving this game now. Even my sister is addicted to it. :|. The cut scenes don't seem that long to me as I am fully into the story and plus you seem to make decisions during cut scenes anyway. Probably the only game I've enjoyed in about a year.

^Are you finished with it? One story, anyway. I finished today, it's very entertaining. Now I'll go with a new story under the more difficult setting. I'm curious to see how the game will change when I make different choices. I was too nice this time, next time I'm cappin all the fools lol.
