after the VTech shooting a lot of people have criticized America's policy on guns... you can't get rid of them but what other options do you have to create a safer place?

In the US? there is no other option. They'll never get rid of guns.

The only thing i could see happening is restricting the licenses and imposing heavier punishment on people who sell or acquire guns illegally. Even then shootings like Vtech won't be avoided.
