Whether indoor or outdoor, any of you guys go? The answer will vary since we're all scattered around the world and gun laws differ, but oh well.

I'm thinking of going, it seems pretty fun, a bit expensive though. Since I'm not 21, I can only shoot a rifle...

Really? In Michigan you have to be 21 to purchase a handgun from a dealer but not 21 to fire it or to purchase from a private party.

Gun laws vary from state to state. But, it might be that I'll be able to fire a handgun if accompanied by a person over the age of 21. I will try to go in the next couple of days and see about that.

i own a rifle, and while handguns are fun, they're only designed for killing people so i don't feel the need to own one. public (usually outdoor) ranges are free around here, and indoor ranges require memberships or a friend with one.

what i always find funny is that because i happen to be shooting (i do precision marksmanship - not throw it down range and blast it to hell) all these red necks think we're brothers and always insist i shoot their guns. from fully auto ar-15's to .45 revolvers to double deer slug derringer, gotta say that it's interesting to shoot different guns and get the feel for the power behind them.

I go to indoor ones. My friends and I take like 3-5 guns and buy about 50-100 range bullets for each and trade up so we can shoot a bunch of guns. It's not really expensive, a lane is about 8 dollars. targets 1 dollar, and 50 range bullets are about 5 dollars. It's fun to go and release some stress and anger.

Here, the lane is $10, $7 for the second shooter. Pistol rental is $5 and ammo for a 9mm is $10.

It's not that much, but it can be if you decide to stay a while haha. I think I'd run out of bullets pretty fast.

an actual range? nah. i have grown up around hand guns and rifles my whole life. i think i first shot one when i was about 6. we used to just go out to the desert outside las vegas city limits and shoot out there or to my grandmothers farm and scare some cows.

the crime where i live in florida is kind of bad and has gotten worse over the past few years from what i hear. i have actually been thinking about getting a gun.

Havent been to the range since the service.. Had alot of fun though.. Especially shooting "The Saw" (Cant rememeber its official name).. It shoots 750 rounds a minute and we were told if you shot it continous for more then like 45 seconds the barrel would melt.. And it was heavy as hell!

I have a sig sauer p 220, a piece of shit gloc and then a desert eagle, i like hand guns i guess. Its fun, dont go to any ranges or anything though. Whenever we go four wheelin ill take em cus thats what all the hicks up there do and we bet to see who can hit beer bottles and shit, haha. My friend owns some land out here so we go there also. I rarely get to shoot em, it sucks.
