Sorry if this is a stupid question but why is it called GTA 4?Wasnt Vice City the 4th installment in the GTA series? Then there was San Andreas so does that not make the new one GTA 6? Or do the first 2 games not count?Im just a little confused by this.Cant wait to get this game.

Nah, Vice City and the San Andreas were just spin offs and they were both set before GTA 3.
i very much doubt they would do another Vice City and San Andreas, because it's already been done but it's possible they will do the same as they did with those games and have several GTA4-related games in new cities.GTA & GTA 2 have all 3 cities in the one game. GTA III was split into 3 parts as to have all 3 cities in one game would have been impossible, also changing the time lines adds a bit more to the story.
I'm pretty sure we will see GTA:IV Vice City & San Andreas.

well i know, and like i said i understand why they did it this way. but we all talk about how realistic this game is right? but doing this steps back from reality in a way i think, whereas if they updated the old Liberty City layout with some new building s and whatnot and left the layout and most of the city the same but more modern, it would make more sense realistically. but it probably wouldn't be as much fun to explore since you'd already know the ins and outs of the city.Yeah, well this is a game, not real lifeSo it makes sense, that's how games roll.
