I know basically nothing about cars.. now this has NOTHING to do with the car running lol..

When i got married my wife's grandma put some shoe polish on my paint and I couldn't get it off. That was in july. So i had the bright idea today to simply use some sandpaper and get it off.. my brother explains that this is the dumbest thing I could've done. He tells me now, since some of the metals showing, it will likely rust in the winter and big damn holes will appear in my hood and trunk (where "just married" was wrote).

So.. I'm thinking I could either:

A. Primer the hood and trunk as is (not all paint is off)

B. Spray paint the hood and trunk with a similar color (car looks like shit, so it doesn't matter if the color matches lol)

C. Finish sanding the hood and trunk and then primer it

D. Spray pa int the hood and trunk and then primer it.

Keep in mind, my budget isn't HIGH at all. The most I can spend is... $50-$100 .. gimme some help :p

You could probably go get it fixed at an auto body shop for 50-100 if they are small parts.

But I'd wet sand it, just the area, and then primer and get the factory color, paint it, and then the clear.

But since you dont care about the car just primer it so it doesnt rust.
