iGoogle lets you customise it already, but not the whole page like that.

It was annoying when i selected one i didnt like, but was a good idea to change it on a regular basis (hourly i think).

so annoying. why would i want to customize the background of my search engine? it's like having a wallpaper on the paper you type an essay for school on. listen, everything doesn't HAVE to have colors and pictures.

how do i make it white for all eternity?
