yo does ne one here own i glass bowl/pipe or watever you wanna call it.....i jus bought my friends old on eoff him and wanna clean it cuz its got resin and ash shit on the inside of the pipe.....but i dont wanna stick shit in there cuz i dont wanna chip the glass and ruin the bowl.....so whatrs the best way to go about cleaning pipes.....or couple ways

Once you try this method of cleaning glass you will wonder how you ever lived without it. This is by far the easist method to clean glass pipes we have ever found.
1. Take your glass pipe and place it in a ziplock baggie.
2. Add a fair amount of table salt to the bag. Probably at least 3-4 tablespoons. You cant really use too much.
3. Add rubbing alcohol to completly cover the glass pipe.
4. Seal the ziplock bag and shake it for around 5 minutes. More or less time will be required depending on the amount of cleaning your glass pipe requires.
5. Rinse the glass pipe under warm water to clean off the alcohol and any remaining resins.
That's it! Your glass is now clean. If your pipe is very dirty it may require a couple treatments but you will be surprised how easy it is to clean glass pipes, glass bongs, glass vaporizer handpieces, you name it using this method!

Another great way to clean bowls/pipes, is to simply submerge them in boiling hot water for a while, perferably so you are able to shake the bowl/pipe around to rid the of shit clogging them up.
I clean my pipes so I can smoke the resi when I don't have any weed to smoke. It takes some time to do this but it's the way I do it so shut up and listen!

2. Take a paper clip and bend the tip so you have a little hook. Insert the paper clip into the holes (choke etc.). Heating the the pipe will soften the resin and make it much easier. This process may take some getting used to. There are hard to reach places in the pipe but I've learned to gradually bend the paper clip (while the paper clip is inside the pipe) to get the right shape.
3. To fisnish it off, you just let some hot water run through the pipe. Get some water in there and shake it. Soaking it in the hot water will work nicely too. I use a q-tip for the final touches.

i just run mine under hot water from the sink. works for me. always clean as the day i got it

go to a head shop and get urself 420 cleaner... and no im not making that up there really is such thing as 420 cleaner.
i rarely smoke pipes anymore... ussually just blunts.. no paraphanerial around when you get pulled over.. also, blunts get me real stoned 
I find it the opposite, blunts don't get me high at all really. Yet, I can smoke 2 small ass bowls from my glass pipe and be nicely blazed for 45mins. Strange, eh?

Yeah, I only smoke Bong. Pipe when I'm alone, and joints/blunts when we can't get a hold of a friend with a bong.
