Just wanted to get your attention. Anyway this site has come in really handy for me when looking for volunteer oppurtinites. http://www.volunteermatch.com I know a lot of people out there want to do something but it is actually really hard to find places and chances to volunteer your time. I just wanted to share the site, in the chance any of you could use it. I really do think it is important to volunteer, and even more important for our generation. We have so much to offer but are often looked upon as slackers and a lot of older people just do not think we care. I have noticed being back around my old friends that it is really easy to sit around and talk about problems but that seems to be all they do. Instead of bitching about something, get up and help out.

I do not mean to seem like I am bashing anyone here. This is more directed at my feelings towards my friends here at home who like I said, love to bitch and complain but wont take it upon themselves to do anything.

Where exactally in Florida are you? I know it says winter park but I have no idea where that is. I worked with quit a bit of really good non-profits while I was in florida, If i knew where you were I could maybe suggest some.

Couldn't agree more. Especially in USA where we have so much resource, sometimes people try to tell themselves that they shouldn't have to volunteer, because they owe no one shit. But if you look at what we do instead, a lot of it is a waste of time compared to what we could be doing.

And by helping others, you will make yourself happier I guarentee.
