Does anybody listen to him here? He's got some creative lyrics and great music to match it. Here are the lyrics to one of my favourites of his, "The Strangest Thing" (courtesy of A-Z Lyrics)

Take my life
Time has been twisting the knife
I don't recognise
People I care for

Take my dreams
Childish and weak at the seams
Please don't analyse
Please just be there for me

The things that I know
Nobody told me
The seeds that are sown
They still control me
There's a liar in my head
There's a thief upon my bed
And the strangest thing
Is I cannot seem to get my eyes open

Take my hand
Lead me to some peaceful land
That I cannot find
Inside my head

Wake me with love
It's all, all I need
But in all this time
Still no one said...

If I had not asked
Would you have told me
If you call this love
Why don't you hold me

There's a liar in my head
There's a thief upon my bed
And the strangest thing
Is I cannot seem to get my eyes open

Give me something I can hold
Give me something to believe in
I am frightened for my soul, please, please
Make love to me, send love through me
Heal me with your crime
The only one who ever knew me,
We've wasted so much time
So much time

If you do happen to like George Michael, what are some of your favourites and why?

^^ Yeah that song's nice :thumb: George Michael's the shit :) I grew up on his music. I like Jesus to a child :thumb:

^^ Yeah same. The stuff on the Older album = :thumb:
Some songs on Patience are ok.

*claps and cheers* OMG that cracked me up!!! :thumb:

Don't worry Vaudeville... after I posted the thread I was worried I was gonna be the only one around here who liked him :D

You're probably the only guy in here who is cultured enough to like him :p

And besides...isn't it good to be unique? (pep talk's over!)

People may think Wham (or is it Wham!, I dunno) are daggy, but at the end of the day, you all know their stuff :thumb:

Careless Whisper is one of their best I reckon :D
Australians really say 'daggy'? Do you say 'cake taker' and tell people to 'rack off'? :D

^^LOL. On that very topic you don't actually call women "Sheila's" do you?

Spiggin' Clinton!!

Neighbours>>>Home Away

As for Georgious Kyriacos Panayiotou - some of his stuff is alright. Even though he is a fag & the toilet incident was fucked up, I did like how he stuck two fingers (& a baton) up at the media - particularly those redneck Americans.

I asked for his music ppl...not his sexual orientation. I think he handled the "toilet scandal" quite well...anybody seen the video for Outside? If it were anybody else, they would have stuck their heads in the sand and never show their faces again...but George took it in his stride, proving everybody wrong.

And yes, us Aussies do say "daggy" it just means embarrasing/out-of-fashion etc. I am a girl, so I don't call anybody a sheila....plus I'm a metropolitan girl... don't hear too much of that talk around these places :D
