This girl at my school did an article in our school newspaper about the civil war in Uganda. I doubt most poeple know about it, because the U.S. front page is filled with images of Iraq and the so on, and Africa remains the ignored continent. It's rather sad, but whatever, thats why Im about to get yall into this... If I can find the school paper Ill type the article for yall, but for now, peep this...

this really isnt anything new coming out of africa, its been covered before in main stream press for many many many years. yes its sad. but that country has been fucked for a long time. too much corruption. their govts dont care about their people. the leaders only care about filling their pockets.

if you want to learn more about shit that goes on in africa , learn about what coltan is. might make you think twice before you buy another cell phone, game systems, etc.

The last time I've been to Uganda it was in 90-91 around that time and the suituation was good. I mean it was safe, less crimes ...etc... I guess some mother fuckers wasnt happy seeing them leaving happy even though they are poor and look at Uganda now. I miss Uganda i hope that i go there again in the near future.
