Ok, so Jay-Z and other rappers wear these jeans, they seem to be popular now. I was at the mall today, and saw a couple pairs of them, $350 and $375. They feel heavy and I'm not so sure about the "gull" logo on the back pockets. Does anyone here own any of them? How comfortable are they? Do you think they are worth it at this price?

Also, how do they fit? Baggy like Ecko, Rocawear etc...or more fitted like preppy brands?

What are your opinions on them?

I think u should go and try them on:D

haha yeah I was kind of in a hurry, it was really crowded everywhere today and I'm just asking for advice from people who own them and have worn them for a while, not just tried them on once.

Well if u want my advice then Id rather go out and buy like 10 pairs of good ol Ecko, Rocawear, sean john jeans for 350 bucks rather then one pair of some old celebrity wearin jeans:D

You're going to spend $375 on a pair of jeans and yet you havent bought VIP or donated to the site? For shame!

Hehe...

But nah, I dont know, I actually havent heard of them before, but I wouldnt pay that much for jeans. Although I do wear jeans ALL the time, so maybe... Hmm.. Nah probably not.

Jeans pretty much all look the same to me... $350 seems waaay too much. If I were you, I'd spend a third of that and then use the rest to take your girl out for the night - that'd be far more rewarding I'm sure. hehe ;)

In that case he should make sure the button is easy to undo ;)

Jeans are the article of clothing that compliments the shirt you are wearing. The shirt is intended to be the primary point of everything else you're wearing. My point is this: if you want to spend a lot of money on one piece of clothing, let it be the shirt. The logos on shirts are visible, showing that you have money. And you can't say you aren't being materialist because spending $300+ is just that. 99% of people aren't going to know what brand of jeans you're wearing (unless you're wearing those jeans with the logo printed on the leg somewhere *tasteless* ). It's a waste. And you don't need to wear the same brand jeans as shirt. I suggest checking out Azzure jeans. They are my favorite brand, not just because of their wide variety from gutter hip-hop look to the Kanye-esque look. I like the faded look most of their jeans have. Check em out here, although most of their stuff isn't on the site: http://www.azzuredenim.com/flash.htm

Peace.

Been wearing them for about 8 years. I stopped when they got well popular in the UK, about 3 years ago, I still have 2 pairs but rarely wear them. They are good hard wearing jeans. They are baggy for the English style, but probably more fitted than you are used to in the US. The Gull logo is what made them popular. I noticed in the last 2 or 3 years they made it into hip-hop fashion in America. Good jeans, just not as cool as they used to be.

It's up to you, if you are in the US they are probably cool and are new. In the UK they are old and not as cool as they used to be.

On a plus note, they make kiddie jeans now, so you can dress your kid up in them. I'll be getting a pair for my niece. Boooooooo.

^^^^The truth. I remember about 5/6 years ago when my cousins were my about my age and they where wearing their Evisu jeans thinking they was flash. They got real popular about 3 years ago and although people still wear them now it doesn't feel special. It only seems to have gotten popular in America fairly recently.

Yeah they are pretty new here, and I haven't really seen many people wearing them, kind of surprising the UK has had them so long before us, the U.S. usually gets things earlier lol.

and E, I have AZZURE jeans and I like them alot probably my favorite ones. I was looking at them too and and every store I go to they have the same 3 styles over and over again its pissing me off.

if you spend that much money on a pair of jeans you have bigger problems at hand. might want to get your head checked out.

If you got money it's no big deal. Some people "waste" their money on weed, or cigarettes, or alcohol. Why not "waste" it on clothes.

and oh yeah, in the UK some pairs work out at $500. Yet I still see little Chavvys wearing them. With their TM's or Shox.

Which is why I stopped wearing them.
