Why do people use the term "Euros", as if there's some kind of single European culture or people? Saying "Americans" is bad enough, since it's a huge country with distinct and disparate cultures, but Europe is an entire continent!

It's just easier to generalize like that. Not saying it's right but all it is is creating a larger category. Just like when people say somethings like western style or north americans.

- Uneducated Americans think Canadians live in igloos, how the fuck are you reading this sentence if I live in a goddamn igloo.
- Uneducated people think all African natives are Negroids.
- Uneducated people think all Asian natives are Mongoloids.
- Uneducated people think Hispanic people are all Mexican, like said above.
- Uneducated people treat Hispanic people of the Americas like they are a new race, little do they know the wide majority of them are mixed between Caucasians (from Spain) and Mongoloids (from the Americas)
- Uneducated people don't know that nationality has nothing at all to do with a person's race. For example, a Cambodian can be a Caucasian and a Briton can be a Negroid.
- Uneducated people don't even know that Afghanistan isn't even in the Middle East.
- Uneducated people should stop calling people "Arabs" even though they are from Iraq, Iran, Syria, whatever. SEPERATE COUNTRIES.
- Uneducated Americans now hate the Middle East as a whole because they think all of the people are Terrorists.

I'm educated on a high school level. The other things I know are a plus.

But, what I was aiming at, is that there are uneducated people that do know the things you've mentioned. You could argue that you can't be uneducated if you know those things, but, it's a very thin line between the two. Just showing how generalizations are made without realizing.

That's b.s. maybe i very tiny portion of Americans think this. A portion that consists a fraction of this "uneducated" group you speak of. The number of people in the States who think we live in igloos is probably the same as the amount of Canadians who think every american is a gun-toting redneck.
