Human remains found in a 1,400-year-old Chinese tomb belonged to a man of European origin, DNA evidence shows.

Chinese scientists who analyzed the DNA of the remains say the man, named Yu Hong (they know his name?), belonged to one of the oldest genetic groups from western Eurasia.

The tomb, in Taiyuan in central China, marks the easternmost spot where the ancient European lineage has been found.

"The [genetic group] to which Yu Hong belongs is the first west Eurasian special lineage that has been found in the central part of ancient China," said Zhou Hui, head of the DNA laboratory of the College of Life Science at Jilin University in Changchun, China.

They should have this headline: "American Man Found in Ancient Chinese Tomb." Yeah, I was alive and exploring it.

American Man? What??

How can they know the man's name? It must have been on the tomb. Why would they dig it up? Where they looking for something? So many questions.

The article says that there were carvings in his tomb depicting what he was in his life, so his name was probably in there somewhere. Why dig him up? Because its a tomb, TREASURES MAN!

^^ I understand. It's like, I don't know where you're from but, there used to be a documentary on British TV called TimeTeam or somethin. They were archeologists. Just now when I think about it, they're diggin in the ground and they maybe find these tombs or whatever.
