Yea I take my hat off to Liverpool.. That was a great night in Istanbul but that team was far from great. I think you lost 15 games in the league and were something like 30 points behind top spot..

For major clubs the Uefa cup is nothing to be proud off..

Arsenal are the only team to have consistently qualified for the Cl over the past decade..

whats the point of being in it every season if you cant win it? also Liverpool have been in it almost every season since 2002

dont turn your nose up at a UEFA Cup either especially since Arsenal have never won anything apart from a measly cup winners cup in Europe.

Is that why Arsenal were so devestated when Galatasaray beat them in that Uefa cup final or when Seaman got lobbed from the halfway line?

That Liverpool team had a lot of good players and were tactically excellent for most of that tournament. Problem was they hadnt the squad to deal with both competitions and alot of inconsistent players who could be match winners in big European games but rubbish against poor teams in the league i.e Luis Garcia

How were Arsenal robbed against Liverpool? You have only have Kolo Toure to blame for that.

I dont think Arsenal have a hope of winning it this season but you'd never know.

^^they think Babel dived in that Liverpool v Arsenal game as well . Wenger even said it recently.

Poor performance by Liverpool. Unirea were no threat whatsoever but Liverpool were just so poor going forward. Babel changed things when he came on.
