has any of you ever went through driving schools on your way to getting your license?

or did you just have your family and friends help you. OR did you just teach yourself, stoled your parents car in the middle of the night an drove around yourself.

i remember one time i went driving with my instructor i brought my copy of All Eyez on Me. an dude was cool he told me to pop the Cd in. i drove around the city listenin to Pac. We started talkin bout when Pac got shot in Vegas an he thought Pac was still alive an he faked his death.


I couldnt believe it an older guy in his late 50's knew so much about Pac. (He was a mexican by the way)

i had drivers ed. our teachers were the gym coaches

one of my instructors was cool, he would let us just drive around where ever we wanted. every once in a while he would tell us to go out into the country which is where everyone went to drive around and smoke weed.

that same instructor also had me driving out towards the ghetto and the strip club once

I took a class before i got my license, where we went driving around with a couple other people and an instructor for 3 hours after school. Drivers Ed in my school was pointless, we never went driving. All we did was watch Wild Police chases every class while teacher just sat in his office and read the newspaper. I think we had a class discussion a couple of times.

Yea mine was the same way. It took the place of gym for 2 marking periods at my school.. Never went driving, just basically went over the manual and took practice tests.. Everyone just talked and bullshitted pretty much.

I've thought about it. I've heard they're really helpfull but cost alot tho....$800 - $1000 over where I live....
