1. when i put in a clap per example, its there for 1 second...ok fine, but how do i make it so it lasts for 5 seconds.

in the channel for that sound there should be a nob that is labeled "CRF"....if you start movin' it you will see red markers form where the sample is at the botom.....then to make the sound longer select "use loop points" in the top right.....then when u load it into the piano roll it should play for as long as u stretch it out......u might have to fuck with it to get it exactly how u want it to sound though

just get reason 3 (propellerheads.se i think). i know i cant post it, (piracy, plus i would have to rip it off the CDs anyway, i think its like 2gb)
reason, version 3 especially, is a lot better than FL for making beats, fruity takes about as much work as reason to make stuff, and when you have gotten used to reason, you really appreciate the things u can do with it. reason's synths stand up to some of the big hardware synths, however only in some categories (mainly in a couple sampled instruments).
just a couple of days ago i saw an active link to it, 30 files of 50mb from rapidshare (so it wont die), it would probably help 2pacboard to attain an unprecedented number of producers if i could post it.
oh well...

ACTUALLY THATS NOT TRUE, THEY ARE BOTH EASY IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING. FRUITY LOOPS GIVES YOU BETTER CONTROL OF YOUR SAMPLES AND YOU CAN DO ALOT MORE WITH EFFECTS THAN REASON.

actually, anybody who uses reason would agree that the CV, gate and general effects inter-routing is far more advanced than fruity loops. reason's devices, when combined, give you much more control over samples, because it has far more options and you can far more easily "synthesize" the voice samples (i forget the exact word now, producers block ) like in california love, troutman's voice box can be easily emulated in reason with ANY voice. plus reason has mastering tools (although i dont use the built in ones) and the program is generally more advanced.
sure, in FL you can record audio or whatever, but this can be topped in quality and precision when you rewire reason, such as with cubase or ableton live 5.
please dont embarass yourself with another post like the one above. have you used both programs? i have used fruity extensively until i had enough to cough up the money for reason, purely by good reviews and recommendations. if you havent used reason, do some research before you make a fool of yourself.

i will drop a mad remix with my own beat soon.
i dont want to drop too many, because i have to copyright them (beats) first and its like $35 per beat. just to make sure nobody jacks the melodies (it could happen)

damn, the triton is a fine piece of equipment. if i had the triton, i wouldnt need to use any PC programs, you can sequence whole songs and shit, with the Studio version at least:thumb:.
