I wanted to post about this a whileeee back.. but completely forgot. Carmi's post she made today reminded me actually. Simple question. Do you like the people you work with? Give good answers.

Me personally? I don't like the lady I work with. First of all, I work for a medical company and I basically run the warehouse. I'm not a boss or anything, but I just know the most out of everyone back there and i'm not a fucking idiot. It's basically me and one other person I work with. This one lady who's been there about 7-8 months now. First of all, the idea of hiring a lady was the first mistake. There's also an office back there with 2 other guys in it that do dispatch stuff. Plus my boss floats back and forth from his desk to the back. So i'm around the same 3-4 people all day plus the people that randomly come back to ask something or whatever.

I'm not saying women aren't capable of doing easy stuff. My job isn't tough physically. You just gotta have the common sense and you can't be lazy. Shit like that. Well the lady I work with who they stuck back there (who's a fucking 54 year old lesbian) is lazy as fuck. Rather than us keep up with the work so we don't have to bust our ass more every day, she just wants to work when SHE wants to work. Her work attitude is terrible.

I'm not the best worker in the world, but i'm a damn good worker. I'm not lazy and I have no problem working hard. There's times where our job will be dead and time's where it'll start to really pick up. She sits around and reads the paper for like 1-2 hours a day. Not to mention, she leaves early almost every day. No word of a lie, she gets away with it. The funny part is.. my boss (who's the coolest guy to work for EVER) knows and he thinks she's a fucking moron. Cause she's always saying how she needs money and wants to work overtime, but she'll want to leave early all the time. I'm gonna love it when my boss brings up all this shit come review time. I wanna see the look on her face.

Anyway, i'll end it there. I work with an old lady (who shouldn't be back there where us 3-4 guys work anyway) who's lazy, has a shitty attitude (espically about when she does and doesn't wanna work) and loves to leave work early. Give me another me and i'll be happier than ever.

Who else?

I work with alot of people.most of them seem nice.i have only been working there for 2 months now.

I got on very well with the people in my last job.

I'm not employed at the moment but I didn't like my co-workers much. Both of my managers were down ass people in real life, but dickheads when they have some power over you. One was a racing fanatic with a garbage ass integra, the other was a shroom head. Who the fuck does shrooms on their 15 minute break?

As for the people doing the same job as me, we just didn't click. I didn't like them very much but I was a professional about it.

in every job there is all ways at least one person I dont like. In my current job, ive not met that person (yet). When I was working in the flightcase factory, there was this midget called Willy. He is 62 and approximatly 4ft tall. He was the biggest twat in the world, he moaned about everyone, he argued with people everday, and to top it off, he was absolutley fucking shit at his job, and then had the cheek to criticise other peoples work. Seriously, I often felt like punching the little fucker, I only didn't because I didn't want to lose my job.

Haha, i like this thread. I work in retail atm, just for some pocket money. We've got an interested bunch of characters here.

the lady with man hands; she's on both sides of the "hard work" scale, where one minute she's working hard, stocking up shelves, pushing huge trolley cages filled with dinner sets with her humongous hands, and breaking rods of steel with her fingers. Ok, the last part is bullshit, but she works hard @ times. Then, there's her other side, where she'll leave work randomly, at strange times, come in hung over, constantly being "sick", bla bla bla. She's a nice lady tho.

the old aged wives; these people make up the bulk of the type of dept store i work in. their husbands are most probably some sort of office workers, running their own business and making a nice sum of cash - whereas these women were previously housewives, raising the children. When the children were raised they were left bored, alone, with nothing to do. So they ultimately made the transition to retail, and they make up the bulk of the work place.
Some of the old ladies are nice, well most of the ones i work with are anyway. But others are fucking assholes and I wish for some of them to just spontaneously break their pelvis or something;
1. the lady with the gold tooth; this bitch scares me. she has a gold tooth in her mouth, and i always see it when she throws that sheepish grin of hers. She's rude to me for no reason (probably jealous of my youth), and I just dont like her.
2. red haired lady; yeh my main problem with this woman is not that she's a bitch, but because she has red hair. just kidding.

There are a few young chicks there.. but all the beauty queens are upstairs in the cosmetics/women department. tho this blonde chick works with me sometimes. She's nice and curvy, and her boobs jiggle. It hypnotises me. I remember once we were chattin and she was telling me about how she's been working her ass out at the gym. Then she told me to squeeze it. It was a highlight of my day.

Then there's the lady @ the coffee bar who wants to hug me every day. I rock up to work and she throws that "if i was younger i would molest you" look and demands a hug from me. Im like yeh, whatever, and i dont really mind giving this lady her jollies. It's all good G.

^ Hah.

I worked at Wal-Mart back when I was like 16-17 and there was this bisexual chick that gave me that kind of "I would molest you" type look. She was probably around 30-35.She gave me her number a couple of times and mentioned some things but I was very uninterested, lol. She wasn't even cute.

^^ lol well this woman is married with kids... I guess i remind her of one of her boyfriends she had 30000 years ago when she was in high school.

im a hit with the old ladies. keep the nursing homes locked

I pretty much like all of my eight co-workers. One is like a big sister-character to me. One used to be my babysitter when I was little and is like a family friend. One is this really cool girl who's a few years younger than me. Then there's this 18 year old extra who is also a cool guy. He's got a good heart. My boss is new but he is a very just and fair guy. He plays it by the rules. Our corporate salesman is a little sloppy but whatever. He's the one who's gonna have to deal with it.

Last week we had a staff meeting. I was told something about something someone suggesting I had been intoxicated during the meeting. My dad came home while I was on that one hour break telling me he had heard it from the husband of that woman i work with who had been my babysitter cause she was like seriously worried cause she knows i smoke weed. I had one hour off before my shift started, so I immediately went into my boss office and asked wtf's up cause I actually hadn't taken drugs for a couple of days. I was just fucking tired because when I don't drug myself to sleep I have to spend 3 hours of twisting and turning to achieve the same affect. He told me he hadn't heard anything though, but I looked him straight in the eye and told him first of all, he would never have to worry about me putting him in that situation because I would never go to work under the influence of anything unless i got high or drunk the night before. secondly, i told him whatever accusations were going around were misplaces. I'll be a little hung, but shit, I need it to not have an average heart rate of a 120 and shaking hands.

Carmi made a thread but I'll talk about what she was asking about here. I have a tendency to always arrive a minute or two after i'm supposed to be at work. it's been like this since i started. there's some history behind it, basically i am tired and when i got this new job, which i love by the way, i managed a 9 man business along with an intern who had worked there for six months. we ran the shop for a month. we developed a real nice relationship and i worked extra and shit.. i had 4 saturdays off since april even though my contract specifies i'm supposed to work every third saturday. i need some time off, so i've started to get lazy and lose motivation a little. i overslept a couple of times over the past two weeks and my boss gave me a formal warning. two more and i'm fired. i called him in for a meeting today so we had lunch and a coffee and i just told him about the situation from my perspective, why i am having a hard time keeping my spirit up right now, but that it's not like i have a careless attitude towards the whole thing. i jokingly said that i'm a grown boy and i know that what i'm doing is not acceptable, but it takes a meeting like this for me to actually make the effort and take it serious. he actually laughed and sort of acknowledged that he could relate. anyway, i told him i was gonna work on it for real, and on the way back to the store we had a nice talk and joked around and shit. so i cleared the air and i think i gave my boss a good impression that i'm serious about my work. my co-workers give me great feedback. anyone likes people who like them lol so yeah i like my co-workers. we all started fresh cause a lot of people quit from the place i work at at once, so we are basically in the process of forming relationships. there will be a few sponsored events where we, say, hook up some big screens and some xboxes and play and eat some good food at someones house or something. just to establish like a friendly sort of vibe. not only is it great for the work environment, but when you consider your co-worker a friend, your inclination to act morally and do your job and not cause troubles for others will kick you in the ass in moments of weakness.

essay style preach post at its finest i'd say. i talked about a bunch of shit you didn't ask about, but you wanted a real response so there it is. i love my co-workers. we joke around and we're all on the same wavelength and they are all intelligent thinkers.

i have 80 co-workers cause i work in a call center. i don't like them all, but most of them are nice. some are weird, some are excentric, some are plain boring. at my workplace we got some for any kind honestly. they are chill. you know all we do is mostly complain about the job and talk about our daily lives.

i'm not too much implicated in my work "gang". i went to chill with them here and there, but never too much into it. i like to think of my co-workers as co-workers. is that weird? although there are some of the people there i chill with more like this girl i smoked with 2 weeks ago and we are going to smoke that bong on saturday :D.

you mispelled "eccentric"

i just realized i like giving you a hard time. maybe i still feel bad for giving you a hard time on that thread about "waiting at the bus station" or whatever when that sketchy guy tried to start up a conversation

I get on fine with my co-workers. I told my boss to go and fuck himself yesterday though! I came pretty close to throwing an overhand right straight to his snout.

yeah i like the people i work with...i work at a call center (telemarketing)...and inbetween calls when im not talking on the phone..ive learned to appreciate small talk amongst co-workers because thats the only thing that keeps you entertained. that, and getting to listen to music that was uploaded on the comp.
