DMC to release his first solo album

Despite damage to his vocal chords DMC, from Run DMC fame, is set to release his first solo LP titled Checks, Thugs and Rock-N-Roll.

The 13 track CD will feature Doug E. Fresh, Ms Jade and DJ Lethal and will see release late 2005 along with a DVD featuring some of Run DMC's most famous video clips.
