Technology Differences In CD Burners

I only really use 2 cd burning programs on mycomputer. I either use the one on my windows media player or the roxio easy cd creator. I listen to some songs on my windows media player and they play all the way through but if i take those same songs and preview them on the roxio easy cd creator or burn them using the roxio easy cd creator it takes off like a second or 2 at the end. If i burn a cd using the windows media player instead of the roxio easy cd creator will it take out tha second or 2 at the end like it does when i use roxio easy cd creator?

I believe Media player automatically inserts 2 sec gaps.
The only way to be sure is to test it.


I always use Nero.

its not really a gap tho...its like it takes a couple seconds off of the song ...like it'll take a second off before a verse or hook is finished if i burn on roxio or if i play it on roxio but if i take the same song on media player it plays the whole thing

Load the songs under roxio. Now select all the songs and right click and go to properties. Under cross fade with previous track unselect it. Also you will see the Pause option put it to 0 if you havent done so already. Hope this helps.
