Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has been known to arrive fashionably late to events so that all eyes are on him, but even Diddy didn’t mean to show up at his own White Party in St. Tropez Tuesday some five-and-a-half hours late.
According to the New York Post, the Bad Boy mogul was supposed to arrive at the exclusive Nikki Beach club at 2:30 p.m., but it was 8 p.m. before the hundreds of invited guests saw him tipping through the door.
Diddy blamed his gross tardiness on oversleeping. Pulling a Lindsay Lohan the night before, Diddy was attending a wild afterparty for an earlier bash aboard the 277-foot yacht RM Elegant to celebrate his fragrance, Unforgivable.
The afterparty didn’t end until 8:30 the next morning, and Diddy says he finally hit the hay around 9 a.m.
