did you known that 80% of Stanford students could not find the error in the numbers above. Repost this with the title, "Wow, this is tough!" and when you click repost the answer will show

I'm not sure of the exact "error" that was placed on this page, but I do have some questions that built up in my mind while I was viewing that page with the numbers 1 - 50.

1. Is there a reason why these numbers are placed vertically?

2. 80% of how many students were in attendance of this "test"?

3. ?

Conclusion: This is something we all saw, but ignored. The numbers "1 - 9" are short one digit. For example, "10 - 50" are all 2 digit numbers. If I was the one who wrote these numbers, to make everything look better (or even), I would add 2 digit's to those numbers who only had 1 (eg. make "1" to "01", "2" to "02", etc..).

But is all this really worth going through to find out a mistake of something that won't even matter to us tomorrow? I think im a fool for taking the time to do this. For the 20 minutes I sat here trying to figure this out, I could be doing something else. And in the end, I probably still didn't find this "error" if there ever was one.

I know the answer. The error is that there is an assumption that an error exists. The error isn't in the numbers but it's infact in the statement
"did you known that 80% of Stanford students could not find the error in the numbers above. Repost this with the title, "Wow, this is tough!" and when you click repost the answer will show"
Mind you there are a few errors.
A) No capitals in the first sentence (did)
B) No question mark for the first sentence since it's actually a question
C) The answer will not show once you repost. So another error there since it's an actual LIE!
