Consumption of Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle

Anybody know how much a fine for that is?? I'm in NYS, and i made the dumbest decision of my life yesterday, and i wanna know how deep the shit im in is.

Im not that stupid, my friend was driving, just me and another one of my friends were drinking. We were on our way home from a snowboarding trip, and there was a traffic stop to fix some bridge and we were there for an hour and got bored and we had a 12 left over. next thing you know the guy next to us gets out of his car and says u boys should be careful you never know whos a cop around here. flashes his badge and walks the state trooper that stopped the traffic. He tells him we were drinking and smoking marijauna. He came back traffic started moving and he said you guys are gonne get pulled over up there, and let us ahead of him to get in the right lane. We had no weed by the way, and we only had a sip of beer.

I can handle 130, anything over 500 would be a problem and the parents would have to know to, and thats never good....
