Film & TV Console gaming in 20 years

Look at the difference between the nintendo NES when it was released in 1985, and look at the new consoles that are going to be released soon(Xbox360,ps3,nintendo). If in 20 years console gaming has advanced that much, imagine in 20 more years what console gaming would be like? shit......

i think this was a good time for us to be born,for we are seeing all this new technology being developped and given to us. but i'm sure over the years all this technology we have now will probably be crap.

but what about in 200 years,or 500 years. what will the worl be like. shit i cant imagine. just like we laugh at how the people in the past lived,the new generations to come will do the same to us. we think its fine,and just dandy. but maybe thats how the old generations felt like they had it all.

i think it will be something like virtual reality with full interactive worlds imagine living ur favorite movie

also when we get old we're going to be listening to the music we grew up too so imagine old people bumping 2pac in their cars

Gaming, who knows, but as far as people looking back at us and laughing i don't think it will, well with politics they might but invention, technological revolution they won't. We are moving at the speed of light right now, truly something amazing, but then who knows how much faster we can move later on.

It will all be internet based. DVDs and the likes are out soon, on demand internet movies are in. Everything will have a HDD, you just download what you want. The same with games and PCs.

I see us going down a direction where we connect to outside computers for their processing power, like businesses do now. I work with huge raid devices, I have 14 terabytes in the room next to me, often we need to connect to "off base" computers to help out with mass processing of raw data. With broadband getting faster and faster this is the future, small sleek computers with all the processing happening elsewhere, using WIFI type technology.

It will be good for handhelds too. Imagine just having something the size of a gameboy, with wifi, connecting to the Sony or whatever developer database, and streaming the game off their super computers, no lag, no hardware limitations, nothing.

Anyway that’s what I predict, and you heard it here first, the future is looking good, and Rukas will be running the show mauahahahaha! WORLD DOMINATION!
