Technology Connection Problem Caused By AIM

When people send me IMs, or mostly when people try to send me a file, sometimes my internet disconnects and a notification pops up at the bottom of my screen that says "Local Area Connection Unplugged" or something like that. I have DSL and all the lights except for the power light turn off on the DSL modem and it takes a few minutes to reconnect. What the fuck is the problem?

I think you have sync's issues. Your RT might be to far away to access. Is it only with Instant Messengers? If its mopre instances without the IM then I would call your DSL provider and send a tech over to check your line out.

It's only happened with AIM so far. At first it was file transfers, but just a few minutes ago it kept fuckin up when I tried to talk to assassin.

maybe something with your internet settings or something. have u made any recent changes (software OR hardware) to the computer?

My friend had a similiar connection problem kept getting logged off.Try reinstalling all your DSL software again and make sure you uninstall all related software originally from your d.s.l. hope this works 4 ya!
