Has anyone seen previews for the show? It's a new one on MTV that starts next Monday. Normally I wouldn't give a shit about this, but as I go to UW, I think it's really interesting. It basically looks like Laguna Beach but for college, so more sex, drugs, parties, etc. I'm really curious to see how MTV portrays the college life.
 
So am I still the only one confused as to if these shows are scripted or not lol. They say they are reality shows but yeah
 
I caught one show...it was about like the dude dating the mother of the daughter or like going out with the mother to see if he'd like the daughter...some ridiculous shit like that. Clearly scripted. I damn near threw my remote at the TV.


MTV makes me hate people who watch that bullshit.

They always pick 2 beautiful girls and an ugly chick... It's so degrading it's not even funny.
 
Im not talking about those shows lol. Im talkin like The Hills and Laguna Beach type shit

And you know how they're gonna portray it man. Basically as the party of a life time. Just like every other movie/show.

The only thing that can be said is, all these kids KNOW that whatever they film, some of it will be used. Obviously they're gonna try to like film only good shit. And you know they all will be very aware that they are on camera. It's somehow gonna be an exaggarated impression of what it's actually like, but yeah. I don't think those kinda shows are scripted either, just the truth tampered with.
 
But yeah, I'd definitely be interested in seeing it if it was people from my own university.

Hours? More like 30 minutes a week. And the show is set on my campus. And I know one of the kids. I don't think that's too lame, but even if I did, I wouldn't come in here and call people out on it.
