What happened? The WhiteHouse leaked info on a CIA spy to teach her reporter husband a lesson because he was vocal about Iraq?

Plamegate as it is called. Joseph C. Wilson was an ambassador of the U.S. and was not a big fan of the bush administration before all of this. his wife, Valerie Plame, was an undercover cia agent. her name got dropped in a nation wide published report saying she was a cia agent. about a week before her name was given to reporters her husband, wilson, wrote an op-ed peace that didnt really make the bush adminstration look good by any means.

now it gets a little weird. because she is an undercover cia agent. so she shouldnt have her name out their in the spot light or anything like that. she should be low key. but there are half a dozen other reporters saying they knew who she was before the article was published. one of those reporters that knew her identity was the one who spent 85 days in jail for not naming her source.

another thing is the fbi is investigating into if her neighbors knew if she was an undercover cia agent. there is a lot of speculation that some of them might have.

scoorter libby who has a role in this and has been in the news alot the past few days has charges because he got caught in a lie like martha stewart.

yes there is more to the story.

i heard a women being interviewed yesterday who drafted one of the laws that is part of this whole thing. she brought a very interesting point of view on the situation.

basically what she said is that this entire thing with plame and her husband was created by the cia to make the bush adminstration look bad while taking eyes off of the cia for mistakes that they have made.

i wish i could find some audio on it because the way she explained it made alot more sense than the ways different news medias have been trying to explain it.

also i would like to add this investigation has been going on for like 2 years. no one has been charged at all in it.

and only a hand full of people would know about this so called "outing" if plame and her husband didnt make it public themselves by doing an interview with vanity fair.

gas prices aren't going to go much lower. as the prices go down peolple will start buying more gas then you'll see prices go right back up.

interesting developments in this case came out today. bob woodward, a famous reporter involved in the whole deap throught thing, basically said he knew blame's identity before libby and others in the white house did.

a famous reporter knew the identity of a suposed undercover cia agent...hmmmm....something tells me she wasnt so covert as her husband would like us to believe.
