I have just discovered the Chrome Web Store, thanks to my browser showing me the way...

I assume many of you have already used it. It is tres magnifique.

Yeah, it has good stuff. I don't see a point in some of the apps, like the Netflix one for example.

Some of the apps are quite good. Others just redirect you to the site, in other words just a bookmark, so no real point of having it. That being said, it still has some very useful apps.

It is a glimpse to the future of browsers though. Especially when cloud services take off.

the Chrome web store has been around for a few months (about 4 months i'd say). but the browser has only recently shown the application tab in the new window page recently. until now, the only way was to access it through the options (settings > tools > extensions).

it should catch up with firefox and surpass it, especially with the implementation of android and eventually when chrome and the android web browsers become more coherent (they will be using the same engine and source code (chromium) in the future).
