Changing education paradigms

There's been a lot of talk here in the province of Quebec about the rate of highschool (or in our case, secondary, and CEGEP) students dropping out. So, we've had reforms here, that have actually failed miserably and made things worse. I don't know the exact numbers for other countries, but I believe it is an issue in the USA and England as well, right? (correct me if I'm wrong)

Do you agree with Sir Ken Robinson? Do you just think kids are just lazier nowadays, and it has nothing to do with the education system? What do you think?
