Havent been caught running a red, usually I'm safe in that regard. I used to be able to say I never sped until I got a whopping great fine, lol... that was on account of the gravitational pull down the hill though... wasnt my fault... nope.

i see that you are from ohio. I am so scared to go to ohio i got pulled over 3 times and all 3 times i got tickets. They see a michigan license plate and WHAAMMMM u are hit.

we michiganders are scared to drive through ohio as our average speeds are 80 and if we get hit with 80 thats 25-35 over in ohio.

they dont have them here in normal
but in chicago they have 'em on every busy intersection as well as the police cameras
and those cameras will take a pic of the car while its in the intersection and the light is red

i have a clean record too. i speed all the time though. once i got pulled over by the cops when i was driving around smoking in my car. they were looking for a silver/gray mercedes and, well, i drive a silver mercedes. they had already stopped one gray mercedes and they stopped me too. it was dark outside so luckily the officer couldn't see my eyes properly or i'd be screwed. anyway, it wasn't me they were looking for so after a while they let me go

Yep. There are hundreds of those things all over the Chi. I think there are about 50 of them on Madison alone.

You're from Chicago's west side? I know man, they're all over the West Side like crazy, that's where they first put them at. I've seen some over by Madison and Pulaski that can basically be looking into someone's apartment.

They had put one on the South Side by like 79th and Maryland, because it's a corner where ALOT of guys hang out at, and they tore it down within like 5 months. It's no longer there.

yeah the cams probably can be used for your own good
to a certain extent
but when you got shitloads of those cameras
in only predominately Latin or Black neighborhoods
i doubt if it's to do the community any good
there aren't any cameras in China Town
or on the North Side of Chicago
where it's like 95% White
so, whats the deal with that
i'm sure we're not the only ones who need to be protected

i was just sayin that yeah
sometimes the cameras may be for you safety
but most times they aren't based on how they are strategically located
i'm sure there another motive behind that
other than our safety
if that makes any sense

Unfortunately they didnt buy it though. lol. The fine was reduced, but I think that was because I stopped straight away though. Maybe they might excuse a relative in hospital or a broken cruise control or fear of someone following... save those for another day.
