Hey, I have a 4-channel amp, and just one 12' sub. The 4-channel amp is 240 watts, 4 x 60, and the sub is 300 watts max. I bridged 2-channels, I was just wondering if anyone knew if I could bridge all 4-channels...thanks..

Depends on the Amp. My amp is bridged internally. So if I was to bridge it, it'd reverse that.
I'm a bit tired so can't think straight. What amp is it?

Sorry man.

I was being a bit thick yesterday.

I believe the answer is NO. You cannot bridge a 4 channel amp to create 1 powerful channel. However you can bridge the channels again to give you 2 bridged channels from a 4 channel amp. However this will make your amp run hotter and harder.

^Well, I don't care if blow the amp or anything, I plan on buying a new one very shortly, I just got this one for free off my buddy just to get my stuff hooked up temporarily...can you help me with bridging the channels again to give 2 bridged channels, thanks...

It's a bit hard to explain by typing...

But as you've already done 1 it's just a simple repeat.

You put +ve end of your speaker in the +ve of channel 1, you put the -ve of the speaker in the -ve of Channel 2. And then you link the negative of channel 1 with the +ve of channel 2.

Then take speaker 2 and put the +ve in channel 3's +ve and the -Ve in channel 4's -VE. Then link the negative of 3 with the +ve of 4.

Cool?
